Librarian's Book choice

I've not yet met a child who hasn't encountered Oi Frog or Oi Dog and loved the stories...this one is another gem in Kes Gray's crown! As with the others in the series, this book is a conversation between some animals (in this case a frog, dog and cat) about where each respecting animal is allowed to sit. Frog has changed the rules, dogs no longer sit on frogs...they now sit on logs and so there are some changes to be made! The pictures are great, the vocabulary fantastic - it stretches small minds but the gentle rhyming makes it accessible and easy to understand. If you enjoyed Oi Frog or Oi Dog then this is definitely worth a look! Picture book / Ages 4+ / Reviewed by Lizi Coombs, teacher.
