Reviews
Sharon
In The Littlest Yak: The New Arrival, Gertie learns how to deal with the arrival of a new sibling and many of our children could relate to her feelings of wanting to be the best big sister. For those children learning to share their things and most importantly of all, parents, with a new sibling, Gertie is a great role model. She relies on her gran for sound advice.
We can use Gertie's example and ask for help when dealing with mixed emotions. 'I loved it when my little sister was born because I could be like Gertie and be the best big brother possible', H (aged 5). 'The more you love, the bigger your heart becomes, D (aged 6), 'Being a big sister is the best thing ever, I (aged 6).' Recommended for family reading time and story time.
