About Author

Angela was born in October 1976 in Warwickshire. She grew up in Leicestershire and attended Oakham school, where she was made head girl (which wasn't quite as Enid Blyton as it sounds!) After completing her A-levels, Angela took a gap year where she tried to improve on her early (failed) attempts to be the next Emma Thompson by doing a short drama course. She then travelled in Italy and Germany learning the local languages and indulging in the traditional local foods, sights and smells.

After Angela graduated from Cambridge University, she studied for a post-graduate course in journalism. Having found a profession which interested her, Angela set about getting some experience in the industry and spent a while on work experience attachments with The Guardian and Vogue magazine.

Vogue soon saw Angela's promise and they took her on in a varied role which crossed several departments. Her best assignment was helping to write a book on the history of the Oscars and fashion.

Angela is now a full time writer and lives in London. Angela relaxes by listening to music and she enjoys regular trips to the theatre.
