About Author
Caroline Pitcher was born and brought up in East Yorkshire. She spent much of her time as a child out in the countryside, and playing by the river. As a child her interest in reading was encouraged by her mother and some by excellent teachers, and she loved reading books about 'nature'. As well as reading she enjoyed witting, ad writing has always been an essential part of her life. She wrote her fist novel just before becoming a mother, and now enjoys writing for all age groups. Her ideas for stories often come from places she has visited.
