Help bear do the washing after they get smoothie on their clothes! The story follows the stages of putting washing in the machine; each page has an interactive wheel to turn, flap to open or part to move. The illustrations are engaging and children will enjoy moving the parts - particular the parts which are detailed, like how the blender turns fruit pictures into a fruity smoothie!

Bear's Wash Day is a good book for introducing younger readers to doing the washing - my only concern is that you help bear put the soap in the drawer which in reality isn't a job children should be encouraged to go near. It's a shame as the other steps are child friendly and they could definitely help with!
