Britannica's Encyclopedia Infographica is a fascinating and accessible book which readers can dip into for the odd five minutes or for an afternoon, immersed in information with sufficient detail to explain the subject without being overwhelming.
The book is divided into broad sections and is beautifully illustrated with clear and attractive infographics by Valentina D'Efilippo. An additional 'How To Read It' section offers notes on how to read some of the infographics to aid understanding.
This non-fiction volume would make a great gift for children and a useful coffee table book for a school library which students could enjoy dipping into during breaks. It is described as '1,000s of facts and figures about earth, space, animals, the body technology and more revealed in pictures'. This book, published by Britannica Books, offers many of us the reassurance of their encyclopedia pedigree.
I would highly recommend this hardback book for homes and schools as an eye-catching and up-to-date information book to support learning about our world.
