Fantastically Great Women Who Changed the World is brimming with inspirational stories of women who changed the world because of what they dreamed of and believed in. It covers many different women who are famous for many different things including the brilliant writing of Jane Austen, the inspiring fashion-designer Coco Chanel, and the adventurous character Amelia Earhart. It also includes woman whose stories aren't as widely known including Gertrude Aderle, who wanted to be the first woman to swim across the English Channel.


This book doesn't just list achievements of great women, it describes their journeys through life including their triumphs and struggles to get there, within a double page about each woman. Each section is packed with snippets of information and interesting facts, as well as being covered in colourful illustrations to bring each story to life. This is a brilliant book for any children who are researching famous historical figures!
