As a huge penguin fan, this book lured me in straight away. This story revolves around Pip-Pip the Little Penguin who is different from all of his penguin friends. Not by appearance, but by the fact that he is afraid of water. During the story, Pip Pip is brought to the point where he needs to make the choice to finally overcome his fear and take the leap into the ocean. Spurred on by both his mother and father's encouragement and guidance, Pip Pip shows that sometimes all you need is loving support (and a whole lot of heart) to succeed in a anything in life. A beautifully written book that rhymes throughout and is accompanied by colourful and engaging illustrations, this book will be enjoyed by both boys and girls. I would also be happy to use this within a PHSE lesson in school about overcoming fears.
