John Dougherty
About Author
Born in Northern Ireland, John Dougherty now lives in Gloucestershire, where he spends a lot of time in his shed thinking up ideas. He held a variety of jobs, from factory machine operator to teacher, before the publication of his first book and his subsequent writing career.
He very much enjoys visiting schools to talk about his books and his work, and he always brings along his trusty guitar - music is a very important part of John's life!
