This is a great book that follows six friends who go on a train journey through a land of dinosaurs, where they see lots of opposites which are clearly shown in the illustrations.
One of the things that I most enjoy about this book is how effortlessly the concepts of opposites have been put into a plot that is easy to follow yet doesn't feel contrived. The dinosaurs illustrate each point wonderfully, with lots of character that really engaged my toddler and I can see would be appealing to a variety of young readers.
The story is great for introducing vocabulary and talking about opposites. It would be good for use in a nursery or school as part of building language within young children.
