Angelo and Angelina spend a lifetime with Mrs Lovely, observing the magic and joy of Christmas from her windowsill. But when Mrs Lovely gets older, she spends more time on her own - and it's then that Angelo and Angelina must use their magic to look out for her too, with the help of a special little neighbour.

Angelo and Angelina is the perfect book to begin Christmas preparations with children in school because it shares KINDNESS in bucket fulls!
Angelo and Angelina are Christmas angels belonging to Mrs Lovely; they are a major part of her Christmas celebrations each year with family, friends and neighbours. However, one Christmas the angels are not put away and stay forgotten on the window sill until they are discovered by a little girl peeping in the window. Mrs Lovely notices the forgotten angels and decides to leave them on the window, looking out for the little girl, Mia.
This beautiful story journeys through the seasons with Mia and her parents passing the angels each day and waving to Mrs Lovely as they travel to school and home again. But when Mrs Lovely needs help one day, the true Christmas magic of the angels comes to light.
This book has so much to offer about kindness, the spirit of Christmas and seasonal changes. Anne Booth's beautiful story is magical and special and has an important message for us to show kindness and be willing to help others in little ways, just like Mia and her family. The illustrations are gorgeous and there are lots of opportunities for children to spot seasonal changes and the joy of Christmas.
