Bunnies on the Bus is a fun book about a group of bunnies that cause havoc in their town as they career around in a bus. This book has a simple plot but the illustrations show so much - a huge around of inference and multiple stories are developed through Ben Mantle's illustrations (look out for those pesky bank robbers!).

Bunnies on the Bus is the perfect book to explore repeated phrases and rhyme. I can definitely see a class learning and performing this using oral storytelling techniques. It's so fun to read aloud to your class and they'll start to join in easily.

I actually bought this book for the twins of a family friend at Christmas time and I know that they have shared it as a family and loved it (especially wearing bunny ears!). I can't wait to share it with my Foundation Stage class because I can imagine they will love it too. The way the story ends also lends itself to the children creating their own bunny stories.
