Star Kitties: Detective Kitty is on the Case is a magical adventure that is perfect for younger readers who are starting to enjoy longer chapter books.

The story follows Tabitha and the Star Kitties as they try to solve the mystery of Queen Moggaline's untimely disappearance. The mystery is exciting without being too scary, making it a great early chapter book.

Laura Ellen Anderson's illustrations are charming, and full of personality, helping to bring the magical world of Whiskery Paw to life. The cat-themed jokes and lovable characters make the story entertaining from beginning to end. I loved the message behind this story; it's based on kindness, teamwork and friendship.

My six-year-old son made a prediction early on in the story and was delighted when he was right! It was one of those stories that had us gripped and one chapter at bedtime was never enough, leaving my son begging me for one more chapter! We will definitely be looking out for more of Star Kitties adventures coming soon!
