Maria

Just read the first chapter of Diary of a Big Bad Wolf and you will be HOOKED! Join Wolf as he prepares for the start of Spring - a time where he plans to eat as much meat and fairytale characters as he can imagine. There’s just one thing.. It doesn’t go quite to plan and time and time again things go wrong and he ends up hungry. Showing that he is the most resilient creature in the woods, he keeps going even after failing, being tricked, lied to and laughed at. Will it be the happy ending that he dreams of? Or will the fairytale characters including; Little Red, Three Little Pigs and the Witch be the reason for his failings?

A wonderfully presented tale written in daily diary entries which truly reflect the personal challenges being a Bad Wolf entails. Children will love the humour and expression this book brings. It is a great book to grab the engagement of more reluctant but able readers who can break up their reading by focusing on the short diary entries.. However I'm pretty sure once they start reading, they won't stop!
