Synopsis

'Why did the guy eat two dead skunks for breakfast?' 'Because dead ones squeal when you stick the fork in.' Gary W. Boone knows he was born to be a stand-up comedian. It is the rest of the kids in the class who think he is a fool. Then the Floyd Hicks Junior High School Talent Show is announced, and he starts practising his routine non-stop to get it just right. Gary's sure that this will be his big break - he'll make everyone laugh and will win the $100 prize money. But when an outrageous surprise threatens to turn his debut into a disaster, it looks as if the biggest joke of all may be on Gary himself.

This guy called Gary boon loves to tell jokes. But every one at his school finds it annoying, except this girl called Angeline who is one year younger than Gary. And at his school there's a big talent show coming up and guess what Gary's talent is going to be......... telling jokes. He wins! Lots of humour, brilliant story.!

I liked it when at the beginning Gary Boon talks as if everything is a joke. When the talent show is 2 weeks away, he is told by his parents that if he can go through 2 weeks without telling a single joke then he will get another $100 and so he gets the 1st prize and goes without telling a joke for 2 weeks therefore he gets 2 times the talent show's first prize. Also at the beginning I liked it when he was forced to eat some food that he had accidentally dropped on the floor.
