Doodle and Dot are best friends and full of imagination. They love to draw but one day their drawings take on a whole new meaning. What starts as drawings soon ends in an adventure full of challenges and quick decision-making. Can doodle and dot use their imagination and skill of drawing to draw themselves out of danger?
Doodle and Dot: The Trouble With Triangles is a fast-paced, action packed book, full of twists and turns. The notion that ideas can come to life and direct a narrative of a story is a wonderfully engaging concept and one that young children can easily relate to. This is an extremely fun and exciting book.
In the classroom, this would be a super book to use in English to help develop story maps as a precursor to story writing. Or, as an example for how drawings can generate playful narratives and inventions in art lessons. The power of pictures and words marry beautifully in this book.
