Reviews

Sue

Mother Earth tells her story from its very beginning to the present day, exploring her many beauties and wonders as well as her relationship with other beings. Offering a message of hope for the future, she tells a poignant tale about our connection to the land, a bond which must not be broken.

Earth Ever After is a deeply thoughtful and beautiful book in both message and presentation. Page after page of stunning illustrations capture the imagination and spark an emotional reaction, whilst the lyrical text traces the development of the planet and how human actions and attitudes have changed over time, altering the delicate balance needed for everyone to thrive and survive.

Thought-provoking and powerful, the book would make an excellent starting point for discussions and debates in schools, encouraging readers to reflect on their actions and those of others, inspiring them to take positive, definite action and demand a positive, more hopeful future.

Some of the images alone could be used to provoke conversations, encouraging everyone to seek small, achievable ways in which they can make changes and positive contributions rather than be overwhelmed by the enormity of all the things which can make individuals feel so lost and helpless. A very beautiful, special book.
