Was drawn right into this story! Excellent pace, intelligent plot, great characters and a fascinating insight into the medieval world of 1454 in Venice.....religion, alchemy, slavery, economy, romance and mystery...everything a great adventure needs. As someone who struggles to read about history, this novel really engaged me....I can't wait to read the next book!
