High Top: The Sneaker That Just Can't Stop is perfect for busy children. It will help them understand that their play might not always be fun for others.
High Top loves fun and wants everyone else to have fun but, when he reflects, he realises others might not have had as much fun as he did. He jumped too much. He danced too fast and he painted too quickly. High Top got carried away. Through the story he learns he need to not just say sorry - but to make it right.
I love the silly shoe names used in the book. I will be taking this to school and reading it to my Year 1 and 2 (ages 5+) class who really need this lesson. I think it will be a popular story for the book corner.
