How to Make a Picture Book

The author takes the character of Elys the worm and talks the reader through every step of writing a story, with their handy sidekick of Bert the beetle who adds constant humour throughout. Every aspect of story writing is covered in a fun, child friendly and engaging way.  After a few pages on each skill, there is an 'Activity Time' section where children can have a go applying skills and ideas they have learned.

This is a great book and was loved by the children in my class. As a reader you will be constantly thinking of creative ideas and laughing along on the journey to becoming an author and illustrator.
