Synopsis
When Milo decides he's going to tell a story, it seems like a great idea. The only problem is that he's not sure how to start... what to put in the middle... or how to end it. With a little help from his family, some real-life inspiration, and a lot of imagination, Milo's story is soon off to a flying start. If only his little brother and sister weren't getting in the way. But then Milo learns the most important lesson of all about stories - that they are made to be shared.

How to Make A Story is a fun-filled story about Milo who wants to make up his own story but does not know how. With help from his family members and some ideas from his home and garden, Milo soon has lots of ideas as he becomes "A Boy called Wolf."
This book oozes appeal with its familiar story words... "once upon a time" and gorgeous illustrations and storyboard format. We travel with Milo as he makes up his fantastic story with the support of his siblings with a beginning, middle and end to "Wolf's Big Adventure".
A delightful, appealing story sparking imagination for storytelling and fun. We loved it in Year 2 and the double spread of Milo's story at the end was a super end to this book. Seeing Milo's words and pictures in story form demonstrated that everyone can make stories.
