I Love You More takes us on a gorgeously metaphorical journey as a mother tries to put into words the love she feels for her child. Perhaps the love felt between parent and child is indeed something words can't possibly ever truly express?

As mum tucks Rae into bed, she shares with her just how much she loves her. Her love for Rae is like the love penguins have for waddling, seals have for snoozing and eagles have for gliding. Her love for Rae is like the love dolphins have for the boundless sea and as deep as a panda's love of climbing. Despite all of this, Rae kisses her mother goodnight and tells her that she thinks she still loves her more!

Clare Helen Welsh is such a skilled writer and a fountain of knowledge in the world of picture books.
