Lola Loves Walkies is a beautifully illustrated tale of Lola and a young girl. Join them as they play hide and seek, visit the park and enjoy lots of hugs together. A really warming tale to share with children, showing the bond between animals and people, making it a perfect book for families who have a new puppy or much-loved dog.
Lola is captured in the lovely illustrations out for walks, spying ducks, and enjoying life with her happy companion, so there is lots to introduce discussions about your own pet with young children. Lola chases balls and enjoys all things that canine friends do until...the reader discovers...(well I'm not going to tell you, you need to read this book!).
This is a lovely text to enjoy reading and discussing, but also for exploring the characters and settings in the classroom. The sentence structure and language used is also a brilliant model to introduce and develop longer clauses and verb use. A wonderfully written and illustrated story which will be loved by children.
