A simple story of an afternoon adventure involving a grandpa and grandson on a snowy afternoon. There are some lovely moments of real family time mentioned and well as a more unusual events involving a pack of huskies!
Lost is a lovely story to share with a little one, snuggled up under a blanket on a cold afternoon. Trouble is, you might end up having to make something… like we did! (Ha ha) There is a thread of tension throughout the story which is nicely resolved at the end - we all like a happy ending and this ends well.
Sam's illustrations have lots of small details in them. We had a lot of fun spotting the boy's monkey throughout the book. I would recommend this book for aged 3+, although saying that my year 5 children enjoyed it too!
