There she's invited to join the Wundrous Society. Mystery, magica and protection are hers - if only she can pass four impossible trials, using an exceptional talent. Which she doesn't have...

Reviews

Azra - Age 9

I liked this book because it's a mixture of all the things I like in books like fantasy, mystery and magic and adventure. It's a bit like a jigsaw puzzle, you have to find all the missing bits as you read and then it all makes sense at the end.

Emily - Age 9

I really liked this because it is a fantasy story that's full of adventure and you don't know where it's going so it's always surprising! I especially liked the trials in the story where the children have to discover what skill they have, their 'knack' - one of the children can ride dragons!
