Not Just a Book...

This picture book is all about how wonderful books are - not just for reading but for so many other reasons! These reasons include using it as a hat, shooing away bears, keeping wasps out of your drink, building something with books as blocks and swatting flies! It's a clever, thought-provoking book which makes you think about the magic they contain. It makes you think about the rewards you can get when you really love a book and invest your thoughts, feelings and hopes into them. It's an interesting book with attractive pictures. It will allow older children to think more maturely about different books while younger children will enjoy the silly uses it suggests a book can have as well as the colourful pictures on each page.
