Reviews

Maria

Rabbit on the Rampage was fun to read with my class because they were SO shocked by Rabbit's behaviour!  Rabbit is busy enjoying activities that all children know about such as swimming, dance and the library but unfortunately mislays her "curly wurly carrot". However, Rabbit is not calm. Rabbit is not polite. Rabbit loses her temper and goes on a rampage retracing her steps, shouting and upsetting her friends and teachers!

The children I read this with were able to join in the repetitive text and enjoy the bad behaviour of Rabbit. This also led to discussions about how we should treat other people and talk politely even if something has gone wrong! A great book to explore feelings and dealing with difficulties and wonderful illustrations!
