Reception children loved it and my reception class ALWAYS love a book that rhymes, especially one that also makes them laugh too! Shifty McGifty and Slippery Sam are great characters and they teach the children that stealing definitely does not pay so they make cupcakes instead - which definitely helps them out in the end!

"I loved the jelly on the cat." " I loved the golden ship with a whizzy slide." Beautiful illustrations with a funny plot will make this a hit with younger children.
