There are loads of titles to collect... Sing Along with Me! The Wheels on the Bus / Sing Along with Me! If You're Happy and You Know it / Sing Along with Me! Old Macdonald Had a Farm / Sing Along with Me! Row, Row, Row Your Boat ...and many more!
As parents, we absolutely adore this book - just as much as our one year old! As soon as we read the title, Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush, it took us right back to our childhood school days when we would sing this in class. And guess what… this book comes with a QR code to hear the song!
The front cover is so magical - the wintery tree is wound in Christmas lights which, when the cog is turned, change colour to give a twinkling effect. Once you've stopped looking at the lights on the tree, you'll be able to enjoy another turning wheel where we see children and woodland animals happily spinning around the mulberry bush as we sing the familiar, 'Here we go round the mulberry bush, the mulberry bush, the mulberry bush. Here we go round the mulberry bush, on a cold and frosty morning'. Next, we 'play in the snow' and slide a tab to make a snow angel - this has to be our favourite page! Again, making us feel so nostalgic as parents being reminded of snow days in our childhood. We continue the interactive experience as we 'make a wreath' and 'sing Christmas songs'.
The range of different motions the tabs encourage are hugely beneficial for fine motor skill development. Your baby will watch as you use your fingers to spin and slide your way through the story. Watch as they learn to do the same! We LOVE this book and will be enjoying it right through the winter months. In fact, I have a feeling it'll make its way to the book shelf right through till summer!
