The Aquanaut is a humorous graphic novel with a Nemo inspired feel about saving sea life. Narratives intertwine and collide with themes of loss, family and solitude.
A group of enigmatic sea-life characters cause havoc on land in search of paradise for marine life, a girl who has lost her father and faces the potential of losing her uncle to his obsession with saving an aqua-themed park. There is a sense of large corporations smothering smaller organisations seeking eco-friendly solutions and the impact humans have on nature throughout the story.
This graphic novel will appeal to developing readers and those that enjoy a comic-style layout. Illustrated throughout with high quality coloured graphics that bring the story to life.
