What a fabulous book. I read it cover to cover and then wanted to begin again. Who doesn't want to know about the Loch Ness Monster or rain that looks like blood. Even as an adult, the mysteries in this book are fascinating and appealing to me.
I think many good readers aged seven and above will love reading and re-reading The Big Book of Mysteries. It will be a favourite on the book shelf for years to come. I can imagine children reading this book and running up to adults and saying 'Did you know . . . ' A brilliant book to spark excitement and curiosity and a great gift for a child who is interested in the world around them.
