It is always a pleasure to read a book written by a passionate expert and that is exactly what this is. The Children's Book of Wildlife Watching is brimming with idea that you can do in your own school garden or garden at home in order to help encourage wildlife.
There are clear instructions for 'making' tasks and amazing full colour photos of animals to spot with handy profiles. For any child who is beginning to show an interest in wildlife and the world around them, this is the perfect place to start.
Dan has included so much information yet has spaced it carefully to be attractive to the younger reader. The information has been carefully structured with 'Did you know' and Top Tip additions. Clearly labelled chapters enable you to turn to the correct section with ease and the hardback makes it perfect for those who want something more robust to take outside.
