Until she meets Conrad O'Connell, famous influencer and nephew of the Ash Tree Foundation's founder Dagmar Nilsson.

Conrad showers Ivy with attention and she soon finds herself drawn into his world and his work with his aunt. But Conrad isn't telling Ivy the whole truth about the Foundation's purpose, and Ivy is exactly what he, and the Foundation, have been looking for...

Ruth

The third super-readable book from Melinda Salisbury in her artificial intelligence/technology driven fictional thriller series does not disappoint. Here we meet Ivy who has been sent to a specialist summer camp to wean her from her addiction to gaming. Ivy is soon under the spell of Conrad O'Connell, the social media influencer camp celebrity, and his charismatic camp director aunt, Dagmar Nilsson, which leads to Ivy becoming embroiled in their plan to offer anything but their original internet-safety course.

The tension starts from page one and builds till the final denouement and we discover what the real intention of The Ash Tree Foundation is. Melinda Salisbury has written yet another page turner suitable for secondary school age students 11+ years old who enjoy fast paced stories with twists and surprises.

Barrington Stoke have published another excellent book which is on trend and accessible to all readers especially those with visual print disabilities who are supported by their dyslexia friendly font and format. This dramatic story is a must have for school libraries and highly recommended.
