Ogie, a goblin, wakes up one morning to find that his favourite blue blanket has gone missing. No matter where he and his cat, Gerald, search, no one knows where it has gone and it still can't be found. However, some wise words from mum make him realise that worrying about the little things can spoil everything else. This story is a very simple one about the search for something special which has been lost. Trying to locate his precious blanket takes Ogie all over the island of Gobinia, introducing the reader to a wide whole cast of characters and locations. The illustrations are bright and full of interesting details, offering plenty to engage the imagination and initiate discussions. Loosing his blanket spoils Ogie's day and the story is perfect for discussing the importance of not letting little things ruin everything else. The end of the story lets the reader find out just what has happened to the precious blue blanket and shows Ogie managing just fine without it!
