The Great Hamster Getaway is a funny, lively story about two hamsters wanting to go to the fair to have some fun, rather than being stuck in a cage! This picture book has lovely illustrations, and the children also loved the fact that you turned the book a different way to see Raffleton Grey floating through the air! It's a beautiful story of how the grass isn't always greener on the other side and it explores how everyone needs a friend in their life (this is something that all the children could relate to).

We love a rhyming book in school and the Year 2 class (ages 6+) definitely responded well to this one. The children wanted it read out loud again which shows it was a hit!
