The Soul Survivor is the third book of a trilogy following the protagonist Genna, who is a First Ascendant. After Genna and Phoenix finally find Haven, where all the other First Ascendant's are hiding, Tanas locates them, forcing everyone to flee to different parts of the world. Desperate not to allow Tanas to win, Genna begins a quest across the continents to save the Light of Humanity. Genna, without the help of Phoenix, starts her quest with her new found friends, Soul Warriors, Jude and Tarek from the Haven to find clues of how to destroy Tanas' soul forever.

The author takes you on this final adventure with Genna keeping the reader fully engaged with their use of exciting and engaging language. I thoroughly enjoyed the series and found it to be a good, easy read that I would recommend to anyone who enjoys supernatural adventure-themed books. I read all three books in two days.
