There's a Beach in my Pants is the hilarious rhyming tale of a little girl's bad day turned good at the beach. After a disastrous trip to the beach with her Mum, the little girl gets a lot more than she bargained for when she gets home! A fish and chip shop in the downstairs cupboard, pirates on the kitchen 'island' and a mermaid on the sofa - it can't get much better than this!

The book is very cleverly written with jokes on every page, for both parents and children alike! The illustrations bring the story alive and made me laugh even more. I think this would be a great addition to the bookshelf this summer and will appeal to a wide range of age ranges.

This is probably one of the funniest and best rhyming stories I have read for a very long time. I cannot wait to share this one in the summer term with both colleagues and my class.
