In this charming book, a family are visiting Father Christmas at a store and in an endless queue. Unknown to the parents, one of the children has brought along the pet cat, who causes mayhem but finds Father Christmas in the end.
Delightfully illustrated, Waiting for Santa captures the endless queuing with humour and liveliness. The queue snakes across the pages and then as the cat breaks free, the pictures follow the chase through the store.
Children will enjoy this story and the detail in the pictures alongside the simple text. Suitable for 2+, it vividly recreates a familiar annual experience in an entertaining way.
