What is in a Rainbow? is a lovely, simple book introducing young children to the science and wonder of light and colour. Set as a simple story it follows the TechTots; Mia, Seb, Isla and Oscar as they explore and learn about how a rainbow is formed. Questions, answers and simple statements assist children's understanding alongside beautiful illustrations. A great way to explore primary and secondary colours and colour mixing in art activities. This book would obviously lend itself well as a stimulus to further light and colour experiments and promotes outside learning well. Picture book / Ages 4+ / Reviewed by Louise Gahan, teacher
