'When I became your mummy, and you cuddled close to me, I knew right from that moment just how strong our love would be'. My child and I enjoyed a close snuggle together as we read this loving poem. This poem, shared between a mother and her little bunny, really does celebrate the love we feel as a parent. Our children are usually our first and favourite topic of conversation and I can really resonate and connect to this poem. It details how 'every day I tell the world how proud I am of you' and how each new day is an 'adventure full of wonder and surprise'.

This gorgeous poem is so perfect to give to any Mummy; perhaps for a Mother's Day gift. It's also a beautiful book to gift from mother to child to remind our little (or big!) ones how much we are in awe of them. The words and images are so simple yet so effective. This simplicity allows the reader to connect to and appreciate every single word.

My favourite part is when the storm comes (created with golden foil raindrops) and we turn the page to find a beautiful golden sun as the mother helps her little bunny through the storm and out the other side to happier times. I absolutely love how Susannah Shane has been creating these stories for the whole family. There is 'When I became your'... daddy, sister, brother, grandad and granny too!

These really are the most wonderful gifts to give to a new baby/child. Or, to gift a child who is gaining a sibling, which is exactly what my latest purchase has been for!
