Synopsis
A heartfelt and funny story about curiosity, growing up, and the lessons we learn along the way
Kuye is a baby pangolin who just can't wait to grow up and do things all on his own. But Kuye's eagerness to go go go, without listening to his mama, keeps getting him into all sorts of mix-ups. Most of all, he's desperate to master "the ball"-the special way pangolins curl up to protect themselves. To Kuye, it looks like a fun game, but when a snake shows up, he learns that it's much more than that.
You've Got This, Little Pangolin is a heartwarming tale about the excitement of growing up, the importance of patience, and how some lessons are worth waiting for.

All parents know the oh to familiar call, 'I am big I can do this on my own'. Often that means spilt drinks, bumps, tears and great learning. Little pangolin thinks he is all grown up. But he is confused as when he tries to do things big pangolin can do, he finds it hard. He can't do it yet; he still needs his mum's help.
What a great book for teaching patience and perseverance. A book I will definitely be using in PSHE lessons with my five and six-year-olds. We can pick it apart as a class and learn that, even though it's hard, we can keep going and we will get there.
I loved the illustrations by Shirley Hot tier. A wonderful colour palette. Lovely expressive animals. Fabulous movement in the images. I loved this book.
