2018 Picture Book Award Winner

A story about a young chick - The Chick's Day Out by Aarna (St Mark's C of E Primary School) - won the Young Creators Category of the ReadingZone Picture Book Competition 2018, and went on to win the overall prize.
Judge Rachel Bright said of the winning picture book, "This story is so very well done. I can't believe you are only six! I loved everything about it! Good story line and characters...what fun! A well deserved winner." The Chick's Day Out won the Young Creators Award before going on to win the overall prize for the competition. You can download the winning picture book entry here:
