The Little Rebels Children's Book Award has shared its submissions' list for this year's award. Their children's fiction prize (0-12 years) recognises children's fiction which promotes social justice or social equality, challenges stereotypes or is informed by anti-discriminatory concerns.

All submitted titles, which are listed below, fit with the award criteria and have been published in 2016 by an author or illustrator primarily resident in the UK. The shortlist will be announced in April, and the award ceremony will take place at the London Radical Bookfair, this year at Goldsmith's University on Saturday June 24th. The Little Rebels award is backed by the Alliance of Radical Booksellers.
