Bookbuzz 2025 programme opens for registration

Bookbuzz, a curated programme of books and resources for Years 7 and 8, is now open for registration. Schools that sign up early, by 16 May, will also receive a bonus pack of books worth £75.

Bookbuzz gives students the chance to choose and keep a book from a choice of 16 titles, selected by an expert panel of librarians and teachers.

The 2025 Bookbuzz titles will be announced on 1 May and will include options for all interests and reading levels, from keen readers to reluctant ones, and from advanced readers to those for whom reading is a real challenge. A selection of the Bookbuzz books each year are also made available in accessible formats: braille and Giant print.

Costs:  The Bookbuzz programme costs £3.55 per participating student. Schools that sign up early (by Friday 16th May - and pay by 27 June), will also receive a bonus pack of books worth £75.

Schools that sign up to the Bookbuzz programme will receive:
- A book and bookmark for every participating student to keep.
- Two sets of the Bookbuzz books for the school library and staff room.
- A guide to using Bookbuzz, including tips on how to launch the programme in schools.
- Access to the Bookbuzz website, including extracts from the books, a film featuring the Bookbuzz authors and downloadable resources.

Schools have until 19 September to sign up to the programme. Find out more about Bookbuzz here.
