Fighting Climate Change

Author and activist Anthea Simmons introduces her new book, Burning Sunlight, and gives a shout-out for activism.

In this short video, Anthea explains why she wanted to write Burning Sunlight, and reads from the book.

Burning Sunlight explores climate change and the effects our actions have on communities on the other side of the planet through the friendship of Zaynab, from Somaliland, and Lucas, who become friends at school. Together, they discover a plot involving a powerful fossil fuel company that could destroy thousands of lives.  Burning Sunlight is also an introduction to activism, and a call to us all to do more to help shape our future world.
