Author Gill Lewis tells us how her work as a vet helped inspire her latest book, A Street Dog Named Pup (David Fickling Books).
Working with people and their pets showed her that not all pets were looked after as well as they could be, and this helped inspire the story for her new book.
Gill Lewis's books include Skyhawk, Run Wild and A Story Like the Wind, and she joins ReadingZone to introduce A Street Dog Named Pup (David Fickling Books), and to give us a short introduction to the story.
