Join Michael Rosen's Poetry Party, Thursday 12 November 2026

The huge Michael Rosen Day Poetry Party will take place on Thursday 12 November and YOU are invited! Join a free live online event with Michael Rosen and celebrate the Magic of Michael Rosen to encourage creativity and make reading, listening to and writing poetry fun, enjoyable and accessible for all! The theme of this year's Michael Rosen Day is Silly School Stuff.

Schools, libraries and bookshops can register for the event at readforgood.org/michael-rosen-day-2026. The event is spearheaded by Walker Books, in collaboration with Read for Good, Puffin, Bloomsbury Children's Books, HarperCollins Children's Books, Simon & Schuster Children's Books and the Hachette Children's Group.

The 2025 Michael Rosen day saw some 380,000 children join in with celebrating poetry and Michael Rosen.
