ReadingZone Picture Book Competition 2024

The winners of the ReadingZone Picture Book Competition has been announced. ReadingZone challenged those aged four to 18 years to make a picture book for the ReadingZone Picture Book Competition 2024, in partnership with World Book Day.
The annual competition is open to individual children, libraries and schools in the UK and internationally. Prizes include £200 of books for each winner's school or library, plus a free online author event for the overall winner.
The competition closed on Friday 21st April 2024. Author and illustrator Steven Lenton (illustrator of the Shifty McGifty books by Tracey Corderoy) has chosen the winning picture book entries across three categories: Young Creators, Primary, and Secondary.
