Redeem World Book Day 2022 tokens from today

World Book Day's book tokens are redeemable from today, 17^th February, in the lead-up to the 25^th Anniversary celebrations of World Book Day.

This means every child and young person in the UK and Ireland can obtain and redeem a token that can be swapped for an exclusive, new and completely FREE World Book Day book. The thirteen 2022 £1 Books include something for all reading ages, and include stories from Matt Lucas, Michael Morpurgo, Sharna Jackson, Simon Farnaby, and Ben Bailey Smith!

World Book Day has planned a special virtual show, World Book Day Live with Matilda and Friends, to launch World Book Day week on 28^th February. Hosted by MC Grammar, the show features appearances from Greg James and Chris Smith, Children's Laureate Cressida Cowell, and all the authors of this year's books. The event will be available for everyone to watch via the World Book Day website.
