Register for Bookbuzz by 24 May

Schools that want to take part in Bookbuzz 2019, a Booktrust programme that offers reduced-cost books for Year 7 children to choose, should register by 24 May to receive free books offered as part of the scheme.

Bookbuzz costs 3 per student and offers 17 titles for students aged 11-13 years to choose from. The books are are chosen by an expert panel including school librarians, teachers and children's booksellers and are aimed at all interests and abilities. Every Bookbuzz school will get two copies of each book to keep, to help boost their school library or classroom, as well as a launch pack including posters, a film introducing the books, bookmarks and access to the Bookbuzz website. Schools must sign up by 24 May 2019 to get extra free books and payments must be received by 28 June.
